“Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.”
(I John 4:4)
Before we can prepare ourselves for great things we must first change our mindset, our consciousness. As a man thinks so is he. If you think negative you will reap negativity. Jesus said, “Greater things shall you do because I go to the Father.”
Jesus didn’t just come to die, He came so that WE may have life.
Jesus is not on the cross anymore, he is glorified on the right hand of the Father. That is how we should view him. If we keep him on the cross, we will always feel defeated.
Because there is no victory, power or glory in just hanging on a cross. The power comes from rising from the dead! Therefore, Jesus emphasized this truth to his disciples that not only would he die, not just any death, a horrible death, but he also told them he would rise again.
Just for one to receive the cross and go no further serves any purpose because it doesn’t bring victory. You must come to the resurrection as well. This is how you conquer.
“We are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus who loved us.”
Why the word through and not with, or in? We are victorious through what He accomplished in us and for us. Now we can walk even as He walked, receive power to achieve greatness no matter our past or even our present circumstances. Our end is what matters because our end is true riches that can only be found in the realm of God!
We don’t have to wait for physical death to see or experience this glorious life. We can see and experience it right here, right now! Open your mind, you open your horizon. Open your horizon, you have come into the infinite supply of God. Infinite wisdom, knowledge, understanding, peace, joy, and love.
“I go to prepare a place for you.”
We can expound on the physical aspect of this statement but that’s not my intention here. Jesus prepared a place in the spirit realm for us so that we may be victors, conquerors. We are the head and not the tail.
We are seated (present tense) in heavenly places with Him. We are not waiting to go to a physical domain when we die, that has its place, but we should look to the present and reap the profound blessings God has for us. We are missing all the best things of life because we either keep looking back (the past) or trying to figure out the future.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. If one abides in the Vine, then it will bear fruit. But if the branch will not bear fruit it will be removed from the vine and thrown into the fire. If a branch bears fruit, then it is pruned to bring forth more fruit.”
If we are not bearing fruit in our lives, then we must be purged from everything that hinders us from doing so. Whether its mental, physical, emotional or spiritual. In today’s society, there are numerous things that can defeat us and keep us from God’s best.
Some we cannot do on our own and we will not produce any good fruit without the vine. Without Him, we can do nothing. We can try in our earthly efforts to defeat our demons, but it will be to no avail. It may appear as if we have the victory only to find ourselves back in the mud again.
Thank God we have a lifeline that glorious Holy Spirit He has given us to bring us to ALL truth. His Spirit in us, His mind in us produces not only all the wonderful blessings in the Bible but beyond! Come, take your journey into the unknown and prepare for your great works in Christ Jesus.
